Still Sunday 30th August
David was back to the cabin and on with his old gear as soon as dinner was over. He was still feeling a bit rough, so I went to the show on my own and then sat and had a drink in a different bar and listened to the resident duo plus a piano player and singer.
The show was a magic show by a couple called Tensai. An excellent magic duo. They were introduced by the cruise director and we were asked to forgive the gentleman's lack of English at the beginning of the night. He came on in Japanese dress and chattered away in Japanese. Then he looked around at the audience and said in a London accent " I bet you didn't understand a word of that!" An original way to introduce himself. His name is Alan Vandome and he is actually half Japanese.
Wow, look at you....you look stunning. Bet you turned some heads when you entered the room...
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing all this with us Dawn. The photo's are like postcards...lovely scenery. So pleased you enjoyed your cruise. Maybe David will find his sea legs down the track a bit and join you in another adventure..Look forward to your hearing about your next trip.

Thank you Meredith for your lovely words.
ReplyDeleteThe 'little black dress' photo is actually a bit distorted in here, but you get the idea lol. Don't know about turning heads, maybe to look away haha.
It was a great trip and being with David helped a lot because I went to places I probably wouldn't have gone on my own when we didn't have a trip organised.
David did say maybe in 40 years time lol which means I am most unlikely to be around to do it with him.
I hope I can make the next one as interesting :)
Love
Dawn
